Putclub. There are many listening materials
ready to be downloaded in both MP3 and RM
format. All of our audios and videos are updated
in the early morning every day. Related scripts,
either downloaded from the original websites or
transcribed by ourselves can be found in our
forum.
We begin with Special English which is simple
and slow. Standard English is the foundation of
listening and a little more difficult as well.

VOA Special English is a
simplified English language used by Voice of
America in daily broadcast. The news is read
slowly and using a limited wordlist of about
1500 words. VOA Special English, although
intended for telling news around the world, has
the additional benefit of allowing English to be
learned and for pronunciation to be polished.
